Meet our team

Dr. George Atsalis has established himself as a long-serving Plymouth dentist who focuses on dental comfort and care by bringing his patients only the best that dentistry has to offer.

Samantha is from Romulus and she attended Baker College, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She has been a part of our team for two years, but has been involved with dentistry for over five years. She is certified in ACLS and HIPAA. Her favorite part of her job is everyone she works with and the amazing patients she gets to see every day. Samantha is married and has three children. When she isn’t busy at the office, she enjoys visiting new places with her family, going out with friends, and keeping up with her fitness. In addition to her dental profession, she is also a certified massage therapist.

Michelle has been a member of Atsalis Dental Excellence for 25 years now, but has been in the dental field for over 3 decades. She received her education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and is certified in ACLS, OSHA, local anesthetic, and nitrous oxide. She loves the feeling of family that permeates the office, as well as the patients; and having the opportunity to use leading dental technology. She has dedicated herself to giving her patients the best possible dental care. Michelle resides in Plymouth with her husband of 25 years. They have 1 son and 1 daughter and love watching their kids play sports. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, kayaking, and simply being with family and friends

Jamie has been a member of our team for 3 years now, but has been in dentistry for over a decade. She attended both Mott Community College and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning her Bachelors of Science. She is also certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, ACLS, and OSHA. She enjoys working in such a friendly environment and getting to establish real, lasting relationships with both her coworkers and her patients. Jamie grew up on a lake in Fenton, Michigan, and still loves being on the water whenever possible. Jamie and her husband have been married for 2 years, have a dog named Remington, and they are expecting their first child in January 2018. Her hobbies include running with her dog and keeping up with Michigan athletics and Detroit sports teams.

New to our team, Beth attended Schoolcraft College and is certified in radiography and ACLS. She also has undergone plenty of on-the-job training with both Dr. Atsalis and our hygienists. According to Beth, she loves connecting with the wonderful patients and greatly enjoys the practice’s warm and inviting atmosphere too. Beth is from Westland, and her very close family consists of her son, her daughter, and her dog Chloe. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, music, dancing, and traveling to new breweries. She also reads two books a week and loves getting lost in stories!

Fionnuala has been a part of Atsalis Dental Excellence for 13 years. She attended both Schoolcraft College and Eastern Michigan University, and is certified in OSHA and ACLS. She has also undergone additional training in Fastbraces, alongside Dr. Atsalis. She loves working chairside and has been known to go above and beyond to ensure our patients have everything they need to be comfortable and to make every patient feel special. Fionnuala was originally born in Northern Ireland, but considers Livonia her hometown, where she resides with her husband, and 2 small children. She enjoys spending quality time with them, as well as her 3 sisters and mother.

Jennis has been working in dentistry for over 25 years. She attended the dental program at Dearborn High and is certified in X-rays, CPR, OSHA, and HIPAA. Over her career, she’s also undergone a wide variety of advanced training courses, including CEREC. Her favorite part of her work is being able to help people achieve wonderful smiles! Jennis is from Dearborn Heights and has a close, honest, and very loving family. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching her kids play sports and spending time with all of her loved ones. She also loves jewelry, and will never turn down a good glass of red wine!
